The Football Federation of Armenia and Italian sportswear manufacturer Macron have unveiled the Armenian national team’s new home and away kits, drawing on traditional Armenian manuscript ornamentation.

The home shirt features bird-shaped decorative motifs, while the away kit draws on ornamental borders found in historic Armenian manuscripts.
According to the federation, the designs bring centuries-old elements of Armenian visual culture into the national team’s identity.
The presentation video was filmed at the Mesrop Mashtots Matenadaran in Yerevan, one of Armenia’s most important repositories of ancient manuscripts.
The Football Federation of Armenia said details on the official sale of the new kits will be announced soon.
