As a result of the Azerbaijani provocation, four Armenian soldiers were wounded by 10:20 a.m. The health condition of two of the wounded servicemen is assessed as satisfactory, while the other two are in moderate condition. The wounded servicemen’s lives are not currently in danger.

Azerbaijani troops also fired at an ambulance transporting wounded Armenian servicemen. As of 10:45 a.m., the situation on the front line is relatively stable.

The Armenian Ministry of Defense reports that the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry’s statement, which claimed that the Armenian side was preparing for military operations, is disinformation. The Azerbaijani side reported one soldier killed during the escalation in Sotk that they themselves initiated.

Armenian Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan confirms that four Sotk soldiers were injured, two of them moderate and two satisfactory, with shrapnel wounds.

According to the Armenian Defense Ministry, there were several violations of the ceasefire by units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in the Sotk direction between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. As of 1:00 p.m., the situation remains relatively stable, and the Ministry of Defense will issue a statement if the situation changes.

The Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan, Zakir Hasanov, has reportedly departed for Turkey. The work at the Sotk mine has been halted since April 15 due to regular shootings by the Azerbaijani side, as reported by the “Geomining Gold” company. The story is still developing.
