Armenian national team forward and Bayern Munich academy graduate Grant-Leon Ranos has completed a permanent transfer from Borussia Mönchengladbach to Spanish LaLiga2 club CD Tenerife, according to transfer insider Florian Plettenberg.

The 22-year-old striker joins Tenerife for a reported transfer fee of €300,000, plus add-ons, while Borussia Mönchengladbach has retained a significant sell-on clause.

Ranos has signed a contract until 2028, with an option to extend for an additional year if the club earns promotion.

The Armenia international has made 26 appearances and scored five goals for the national team. A product of the Bayern Munich academy, Ranos has also had spells with Borussia Mönchengladbach, 1. FC Kaiserslautern, and Eintracht Braunschweig before making the move to Spain.

The move marks a new chapter in Ranos’ career as he begins his first spell in Spanish football.
