“Tavush for the Homeland” has announced a march from Tavush to Yerevan to continue the protests against Pashinyan’s decision to surrender Armenian villages.
Tavush citizens have been protesting since April 19, when the announcement was made, and despite Pashinyan meeting with Kirants villagers, no decision has been made to withdraw from the surrender.
The statement released by “Tavush for the Homeland” explains that it is a non-partisan movement, led by the people. The movement plans to arrive in Yerevan on May 9th, Shushi Liberation Day, where the next steps will be announced.
