On July 18, the statue of legendary artist, world-renowned chansonnier, and National Hero of Armenia Charles Aznavour was officially unveiled at Charles Aznavour Square, located in front of the Moscow Cinema in Yerevan.

The statue, honoring Aznavour’s extraordinary contributions to music, culture, and Armenia’s international recognition, was cast in the city of Gyumri—celebrated for its rich artistic heritage. It was installed on July 16 and unveiled just two days later in a ceremony attended by government officials, cultural figures, and members of the public.

This monument stands not only as a tribute to Aznavour’s legacy, but also as a symbol of national pride and inspiration for future generations to honor one of the most influential Armenians of the modern era.
