Catholicos Karekin II presided over a Peace Prayer at the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin marking Artsakh Independence Day.
Clergy and those in attendance prayed for the resilience and safety of forcibly displaced Artsakh Armenians, the swift release of Armenian hostages and Artsakh’s leaders held hostage in Baku, and for peace and well-being for the Armenian people.
The service concluded with a prayer for the souls of those who gave their lives in the Artsakh wars.
